Art Party Potluck: Amor Farm (Oakland/Fruitvale)

  • Sep 7, 2014 · 3:00 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

EBCOHO Supporting Member/Artist in Residence Stephen "Mr. Fun" Kelly writes: HI. Come and share music, poetry, songs, paintings, dance, theatre, etc. or just sit and enjoy being in the middle of NOW at AMOR FARM. We found another housemate (sorry, the room is no longer available), and this is a good way to see the space and meet the people. There's the opportunity to intensively farm the "edible garden" backyard not just to feed the house but potentially to earn funds.

Event is by donation. Please bring a potluck item. RSVP on this page for the one on September 7th. There was another one on August 24th (Read here about that one).

Come for the FUN. Explore the potential for a tiny house in the backyard.

i live in the city but have been watching these meetups as i really want to transition to the east bay and i'm very interested in finding a good community. also, i have always dreamt of one day having a tiny house. i'd like to stop by but if i'm in the area i'll likely have my two small dog's with me as we'll be coming from a hike. i can put them in a carrier, and not stay long if it's an inconveniance, but i really don't want to leave them in the car if it's hot but primarily due to risk of theft :(
if anyone know's if this'll be OK or not, please let me know
(they are very quiet and calm and gentle, and hairless/ie: allergies are usually not an issue)

I'll try to stop by when I'm done at the coliseum, if I'm not to tired. Not sure what I'll be able to through together for the potluck.

Note that they found someone for the room, so this is just an Art Party/Open House. You can certainly talk about Tiny Home potential.
