Utopia Now! Commons Fest (Oakland Uptown)

The sunshine, belongs to all of us. The air, belongs to all of us. The water, belongs to all of us. The land, belongs to all of us. The fruits of the land and the products of our labor, belong to us. Utopia Now! Commons Fest ---- A celebration of ART, MUSIC, POETRY, VIDEO, and GRAND ORATORY INTENDED to ROUSE the MASSES to RECLAIM the COMMONS. COMMUNITY and the COMMONS. --- Environment, human rights, civil rights, collective workplace, collective community building a movement, dismantling corporate power. TRANSITION COMMUNITIES founded upon human dignity and direct democracy. ENVIRONMENTAL protection and expansion of public lands for protecting the integrity of ecosystems under corporate and private attack. All Utopia Now! events are free of charge.
