The San Diego Building Electrification Coalition (SDBEC) is partnering with The [Climate Reality Project Orange County & South Central Coast](Climate Reality Project Orange County & South Central Coast) to bring you another in a series of webinars on How to Electrify Your Home, hosted by expert Sean Armstrong.
We have teamed up with Sean Armstrong of Redwood Energy, so we can all learn more about how affordable and doable it is to electrify your home.
We will share “how to” case studies*****, electrification tips, rebate info and answer to your questions on how to get started. Bring your own questions to the call so we can all learn from each other... and Sean!
*At this event we will be discussing a Solana Beach townhome owned by one of our SDBEC members – how it’s gone so far and plans for the future.
Sean Armstrong is the host of The Ask Sean Show and is a Clean Energy Champion, Clean Energy Hall of Fame, Innovation Award from the Department of Energy-2020.
There will be time for questions about your home. There is no cost for this online event but please register in advance.

Public Tools for a Zero Carbon Future
Please join us to hear from our special guest, Corinna Contreras, Transportation Public Policy Advocate for the Climate Action Campaign. She will speak about government initiatives that aim to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and how the public can use these developing initiatives to learn about and advocate for real climate change solutions. We will review the county’s Regional Decarbonization Framework and other regional efforts that are currently occurring in the public domain.
There is no charge for this online presentation but please register in advance. There will be time for Q&A.
*The Our Changing Climate speaker series is held throughout the year. They are free and online and cover a variety of environmental topics, including the causes and consequences of anthropogenic climate change and possible solutions. The North County Climate Change Alliance invites you to join our monthly networking event!
This meeting is open to individuals and groups who are concerned about climate change. We also welcome those who are looking to learn more about climate change and for opportunities to become more involved.
The format is a casual round robin discussion. Participants have the chance to share what they (or the groups they belong to) are doing and any upcoming events or announcements. You are not required to share anything, listening and taking in what others have to say is fine too.

- Alta Vista GardensAlta Vista Botanical Gardens, Vista, CA
The NCCCA is part of the Adopt-a-Garden program and our volunteers meet monthly to clip, trim, plant and maintain two of the beautiful gardens (the Pond Garden and the Inspirational Rock Garden) at the Alta Vista Botanical Gardens.
Please bring garden gloves and hand clippers if you have them. Meet Suzanne at the entrance to the Alta Vista Botanical Gardens at 1:00 PM or drop in anytime to help between 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM. If there is an attendant at the entrance, tell them you are volunteering with the NCCCA Adopt-a-Garden program and the entrance fee is waived.
