Enterprise Search London

Details
The next Enterprise Search London meetup will be on April 13 at Skinkers near London Bridge. We are excited to be hearing from two excellent speakers:
Jeremy Bentley (http://uk.linkedin.com/in/jeremybentley) on Ontologies; metadata and delivering an exceptional search experience.
An enterprise search experience is only as good as its metadata. Improve metadata quality and scope and you improve the search experience. Smartlogic produce Semaphore, an Enterprise Semantic Platform that adds ontology, classification and navigation support to enterprise search, content management and workflows systems. Using examples of live projects drawn from their client base, Jeremy Bentley, CEO of Smartlogic will present the case for semantics and how one achieves an exceptional search experience.
Stefan Olafsson (http://twitter.com/#!/mrolafsson) on Search vs. Database: two sides of the same coin?
Search engines and NoSQL databases are the new kids on the block. When it comes to storing data, these newcomers are making it ever harder to choose between search and good ole' SQL. When is each appropriate? Why must we choose between the two? Is there a silver bullet on the horizon?
Doors will open at 6:15pm with talks starting at 7:00. Drinks and nibbles will be available courtesy of Smartlogic (http://www.smartlogic.com/).
Also, you can find slides from the previous meetup on the February Redux (https://www.meetup.com/es-london/messages/boards/thread/10531946).
