Craft Night: Book-Signing & Party With Brett Bara

For this Monday's crafting activities, we're trying something a little bit different that usual, so read carefully... We're starting the evening with a sewing workshop led by Brett Bara, with a limited capacity (sign up here (https://www.meetup.com/etsylabs/events/25747801/) for that), followed by a Craft Night/book-signing party open to one and all (RSVP on this page for that).

If you can't make it in-person, we will be hosting a live Online Lab (http://www.etsy.com/community/online-labs) at 3:30 p.m. on 8/29 with a demo of how to sew a skirt.

We'll make it a fun, festive time with a stitched greeting card project from her book, matched with snacks, drinks, and music! Copies of Sewing in a Straight Line will be available to purchase, and Brett will have her pen at the ready to sign your copy for you too.

When is it? 7-9 p.m. on Monday, August 29 at the Etsy Labs in DUMBO, Brooklyn.

Do I need to know how to sew? Nope! This stitched greeting card project is suitable for everyone, whether you've never touched a sewing machine before, or consider yourself a seasoned pro. We'll have volunteers to help you along too.

What should I Bring? All supplies will be provided. Just bring yourself and your friends.
