This was an excellent meet up.
    Thank you for organizing it.
Just wondering, is it possible, Arun, to share the code bit that you demonstrated for us at the meetup? I am interested in the dashboard JS that you created with spreadsheet and google chart tools where you made a filter slider on the fly. I would like to see the code if possible. Thanks!

Got home from the Meetup, stayed up all night, and wrote my first Google App. Open-sourced at https://github.com/truevis/Email...

Nice. It ran for me. I need to find the time to look through notable scripts.

BTW, my app takes one's Calendar entries for the day and sends them in a nicely-formatted email.

The icon for a debugger should have 8 legs, as do some of the best debuggers (spiders). Things with 6 legs are bugs.

True, but perhaps UI designers do not want to creep out arachnophobes. Although, no one thinks twice about grabbing and clicking a mouse. Also, spiders are already associated with web crawlers.

Detailed directions (repost from Mark's Mailing list post):

The address is 141 Portland St. (near the corner of Hampshire st.) in Cambridge. This is a 10 minute walk from the Kendall Sq. red line stop and the normal meeting location. This is the "other" Google building, the former ITA Software.

Enter and follow the hallway to the right of the bank entrance, to the elevators. Take the elevator to the SIXTH FLOOR. Follow signs from there.

If you arrive early and no one is present to meet you, you may go to the 7th floor to wait.

Additionally, be aware the external doors will be locked after 6PM. Someone will be in the lobby to let you in between 6:15 and 6:45. Please arrive promptly!

Excellent! Arun gave dauntless live coding examples and great Q&A throughout. Thanks to lightning talk presenters for creative examples of App Script in action. Interested to learn from the CloudLock engineers they are one of the top users of App Engine and pushing the limits with challenging problems of scale. Check them out.

Hi Folks on the waiting list - we will send a reminder to those registered to double check their RSVPs and remove themselves from the registered list. Most often we have quite a few changes in the last day or two and most of the waiting list clears. The people on the waiting list are automatically registered as space becomes available and are notified.
