We are excited to bring together developers, designers and visual/graphics and sound artists to build software which using Google's Project Tango (https://www.google.com/atap/project-tango/about-project-tango/)'s sensors, 3D vision and mapping using Unity, Android OpenGL+Java or Android OpenGL+C/C++. Let's stretch and have fun.

This event is coorganized with GDG, Boston Android, Boston Virtual Reality and the Boston Unity Groups
We'll have TAs with experience on different aspects of VR development and we'll work in teams.
Smartphones are filled with sensors, but choices haven't changed for a while until Tango - let's explore the frontier of what might be built with Tango's additional sensors.
Swag and PrizesWe have swag, food and winners will take home a Tango Tablet (https://www.google.com/atap/project-tango/). At the end of the day we'll hoist a few beers.

Attendees will receive a Durovis Dive 7 (https://www.durovis.com/product.html?id=5) headset ($120 value) that bring Virtual Reality to 7 inch tablets (provide your own 7" phone).

What is Project Tango?
In Google's own words - Project Tango technology gives a mobile device the ability to navigate the physical world similar to how we do as humans. Project Tango brings a new kind of spatial perception to the Android device platform by adding advanced computer vision, image processing, and special vision sensors.
