Google Programs for Students: Summer of Code and Code-In

This event is intended for junior high, high school, college students, parents and educators who want to learn about Google's Summer of Code (for college interns) and Google Code-In (for ages 13 - 17).

Stephanie Taylor from Google will give an overview of these programs and do Q&A. Come learn about them and how you or your children can participate.

Also, Ryan Torbey a K-5 technology teach and co-organizer of the Texas Alliance for Computer Science Education (TACSE) will share a brief overview of the state of computer science education in Texas as well as opportunities to get involved.
