The Charlotte Beer Club and Good Eats & Meets invite you to join us for our Beer City USA-Get Away to Asheville. For the past four years, Asheville has been voted Beer City USA and it is our intention to give our guests a beer weekend unlike any other. Enjoy round trip transportation from Charlotte, an overnight stay at a nationally recognized hotel chain, a hands on tour of some of Asheville famous breweries both days and a ”Kegs and Eggs” Beer Brunch before returning back to the Queen city. What a fun weekend indeed!

1st Stop: Saturday approximately 12 noon, Lexington Avenue Brewing Co.

This stop includes brewery tasting room/bar. Various beers from LAB. T-shirts, souvenirs, food available (A Great Place For Lunch).

2nd Stop: Saturday approximately 2:00pm, Wedge Brewing.

Brewery, Tasting Room. Various beers from Wedge Brewing. T-shirts, souvenirs available.

Check into hotel... 3rd Stops are optional. There will be 2 options: Saturday approximately 3:00pm, Highland Brewing (Appalachian Breakdown Bluegrass Festival-buy your own tickets in advance at their website!). The brewery is NOT OPEN for tasting or tours that day! We will drop off any people that would like to attend the festival, you are responsible for your own cab ride back to the hotel ($10-$20 cab ride). We will walk around downtown Asheville and walk to Green Man, Craggie, Jack of The Woods Pub , Thirsty Monk Pub & others!!!! BONUS STOP! Troy & Sons Distillery (NEW!) http://www.troyandsons.com/ Tours at 5,6 & 7pm. We will hit one of the tours. The rest of the night...party as you desire in Asheville! Sunday 1st Stop 12 noon: Asheville Brunch (location TBD). Beers & Food. (State Law, no beer until noon!) 2nd and final stop: Asheville Brewing This trip includes: Hotel and transportation to and from Asheville and stops at breweries in Asheville. You are responsible for the purchase of your own beer, food, souvenirs and cab rides. Tickets to the Bluegrass Festival at Highland are your responsiblitiy, should you opt to go there.
