GeoDjango - the geo extensions to the popular Python Web Framework - and more!

Details
PLEASE NOTE THE CHANGE OF DATE:
It has been some time since our last GeoMeetup, so let's schedule one!
Location: In downtown SF (Trulia's offices).
Who: Zain Memon - ex-Django committer - current Trulia geo-guru
What: GeoDjango - and more!
GeoDjango is an add-on for Django that turns it into a world-class geographic Web framework. GeoDjango strives to make it as simple as possible to create geographic Web applications, like location-based services. Some features include:
Django model fields for OGC (http://www.opengeospatial.org/) geometries. Extensions to Django’s ORM for the querying and manipulation of spatial data. Loosely-coupled, high-level Python interfaces for GIS geometry operations and data formats. Editing of geometry fields inside the admin. And more!
About Zain: Zain is one of the two people on the geo team at Trulia, who has released data-viz hits such as crime maps (http://www.trulia.com/crime/), weeplaces (http://weeplaces.com/), and tendermaps (http://tendermaps.com/). He uses Python and GeoDjango to create pretty, useful maps.
Expect coolness. See you then!
