Birthday Surprise Hike
Join us for a night hike/potluck on February 22 to celebrate Lee Zebold's birthday on top of Mount Hollywood. After the hike the festivities will continue at VivaCantina and Mexican Restaurant, a short drive away, where we will further honor the great man, the man of men, The Grand Poobah!

Intermediate level - 5 miles round trip - not a beginner hike. Beginner option, toast with Lee at Viva Cantina after the hike, about 9:45pm.
Meet by 6:30pm at Parking Lot #2, Steps past the merry go round (map link below)

The entrance from the north end of the Park is now open (134 Fwy - Victory/Riverside exit)
We will hike on various trails and roads to get to the top where we have the potluck. There are picnic tables at the top.
Wear hiking shoes and bring water plus....
Please bring potluck food (not snacks) and stuff to share. Let Shannon know what you plan to contribute so we don't bring to much of one thing.
This will be a 3 hour event. We should be back to the parking lot by 9:30 PM. OK to leave early if you know the way back.
Flashlights??? if you feel you need one, please have colored lenses (red, green or blue) that do not hurt night vision. If you really want to honor The Grand Poobah you will do without a light and PLEASE BE ON TIME
