Take 2 hours EVERY MONDAY--we get a 360 degree view from Downtown L.A. to Malibu to Palos Verdes and can watch the sunset.
WHEN: 5:30 pm to sunset, which is when the rangers start telling us to go home.
MEET: Lots of cool people
MEET WHERE?: at the Kenneth Hahn park--at the top of the Baldwin Hills.
DIFFICULTY: Easy, then hard in the middle, with 200 feet elevation gain on a steep, but short trail. Then we do more civilized relatively level trails, but there will be a 2 or 3 more short steep climbs later.
Lots of restrooms and water fountains.
PARKING: free.
DOGS: are allowed in the park on a leash
