Hike to a shipwreck
Details

Ok this is the last time i do this hike this year( Unless a girl i like asks me to do it again)Also we are going to do this early on a sunday. 9:00am is the earliest I can get there and still pass a sobriety test ;-) this is the time to go for the low tide, so don't complain to me and yell at the moon because its to blame. Anyways this is a real shipwreck we are going to. It was called the dominator and it wrecked off the coast a long time ago by the looks of the rust. But come to this hike you see dolphins sometimes and seals and whales if we are lucky and the sounds of the ocean and waves are sootheing. the only bad thing is the rocks. Also if it is a hot day bring more water than you need
When: Sunday july 28, 2013 9:00 am
GO to the bathroom before you get here!!!!!!!!!!!!! no toliets anywhere, unless you jump in the water
What to bring: Plenty of Water, hat, sunblock, good walking shoes, walking sticks if you have bad balance, snack
Hike level: Advanced beginner 6 miles roundtrip, 300 feet elevation gain/loss, 4 hours
Hike description: Ok why does it take 4 hours roundtrip to walk 6 miles there and back. It is simple we walk on beach rocks half the time! We start on the bluff 300 feet above the beach and walk down to the beach. we pass the surfers and start walking on the rocks on and off til we get there. YOUR BALANCE WILL BE TESTED and there rocks are sometimes wobbly and loose sometimes. I WILL GO SLOW SO NO ONE EATS IT! We will take another way back to avoid walking on the rocks, well mostly. when we are almost there there is a pipe, next to it are rocks covered with cement. walking up it is like walking up stairs and is very easy because the cement is very grippy
Rain cancels
Dogs ok but on leash at all times
email me if you have any questions
