We will be hiking on a trail for half the time and rock scrambling along the long hog-back rocky ridge that runs the length of the park for a while. So expect to use your hands a lot.
Then we will stop for lunch at the big cave, (lots of shade) and finally, we will climb the cliffs trail to the spires near the freeway.
POST HIKE EARLY DINNER AND BEER and SOCIALIZING AT BIG MOUTH PIZZA
THEN IF ANYONE WANTS TO SEE THE ROWHER ROCKS WITH ME????, THEY'RE A FEW MILES TO THE NORTHWEST. Parking there requires a National Forest Adventure Pass ($5) (Sierra Highway to Rush Canyon Road, drive to top of hill and park. Hike is 1/2 mile each way)
