Friday 13th Night Hike and Potluck Party
at Mt Hollywood

A Full Moon on Friday the 13th -
This will not happen again for another 35 years

Time: 6:30 PM

Distance: 5 miles round trip

Elevation Gain: 1000 feet

Level of Hike: Intermediate 5/10

Duration: 3 hours

We will meet at 6:30 at Parking Lot #2 (the Merry Go Round parking lot) - AT THE STEPS. Don't look at map at top...no good....look at this one below...

Closest GPS Address: Ranger Station, 4730 Crystal Springs Drive Los Angeles, CA 90027

From Ranger Station drive west uphill road toward parking lots & Merry Go Round...there are signs pointing the way. Drive Through Parking Lot #1 and continue to Parking Lot#2 - the Steps are at the northern of the Lot.

Hike Ankle Breaker to Water Tower 113.....then up Cardiac Hill till we get past the cliffs at Dave's Grade destination, and finally to the peak itself, some 1650 feet above see level.....Mt. Hollywood itself.

We will share food and drink at the top.

NOTICE: bring food....NOT snacks. Think of this as a potluck picnic

This will be a 3 hour event. We should be back to the parking lot by 9:30 - 10. You can leave early if you like
