Charmlee Park in West Malibu...easy...overlooks the ocean, 4 miles or so

Charmlee Wilderness Park is 590 acres of the best of the Santa Monica Mountains Coastal Slope environment. The park includes picnic areas, eight miles of hiking trails, native plant displays, and a nature center.

Join us for an easy loop hike through rolling hills, shady oak trees, and have lunch at the ranch house ruins and take lots of photos of the shoreline from high cliffs above PCH.

There's a couple areas of rocks to climb, and a shady area to sit and watch while we monkeys climb the rocks

BRING A GUITAR OR TAMBOURINE IF YOU WANNA JAM WITH ME ON THE HIKE. BRING EARPLUGS IF HIKING AND SINGING DRIVES YOU NUTS...

(This is part of another of my hike double-headers...part 2 is rock scrambling at the end of Corral Canyon Road, (a 1/2 to 3/4 hour drive from here) from 3 to 6ish, followed by chow at the Coral Beach Cantina on PCH in Zuma)

Parking fee: yes--$4, THERE ARE TWO DIRT LOTS SO DON'T FREAK OUT IF THE FIRST ONE FILLS UP

YOU CAN ALSO PARK FOR FREE ON ENCINAL CANYON ROAD AND WALK A 1/4 MILE OR SO TO THE END OF THE ROAD WHERE WE WILL MEET

Dogs: are allowed on-leash

POISON OAK: in a few areas along the trail and around the rocks. It is easily avoidable unless you don't want to. If so: then enjoy!
