Destination: Iconic Silver Lake Stairs and hidden architectural gems

Departure: 5:15 pm

Return: 7:45 pm

No dogs allowed.

This is a rugged walk, requiring strong legs and good shoes, and not recommended on wet days....but what a walk! It features Silver Lake views, super secret stairways, beautiful Christmas lights and a stroll along unpaved roads that used to be Red Car trolley lines.

Bring water, flash lights, aspirin, band aids, and comfortable shoes.

Rules of Conduct:

(1.) Absolutely ... " no one left Behind." (2.) DON'T EXPECT ME TO GIVE YOU A MAP OF THE ROUTE (3) The pace and amount of stops are at the discretion of the Hike Leaders.(4) If someone is faster behind you, you must offer to yield. (5) Walk single file when requested. (6) Be considerate of older and slower hikers. (7) When the organizer asks you to turn around, you must turn around. (8) Always follow your leader. (9) Don't text and walk. (10) Bring flash light (11) Try to wear light colored clothing
