OK-----I don't care who wins the Super Bowl. If you don't either, come hike and climb easy rocks and enjoy the shade of beautiful oak trees at two parks on Kanan Road.

First at 12:30 PM, meet at the newly acquired (2013) Ladyface Open Space. This is a different hike then the looney climbs to the top of Ladyface Mountain which overlooks this park. This hike is easy, maybe 2 miles, with 200 feet or so of elevation gain.

Then at 2:30 pm we go to Rocky Oaks park, 4 miles south of Ladyface park at the northwest corner of Kanan and Mulholland Highway. Lots of shade, a few rocks to climb, a pond (that might be dry ????), and elevation gain of 100 feet over another 2 miles.
