Destination: Chandelier Tree -- an iconic landmark in Silver Lake.

Difficulty: 4/10 intermediate Urban Hike-- we will climb 268 stairs

Duration: 2.0 hrs

Distance: 4.0 miles

Departure time: 11:10 am.

What to wear : Comfortable walking shoes

What to bring: Bring water, aspirin, band aids, knee brace, tape, camera.

Where to find free parking:

1. On India Street close to Silver Lake Blvd (you may find parking on Silver Lake Blvd as it get close to India Street) .

2. On Bier Ave North of Silver Lake Blvd.

3. On Armstrong Ave which ends on Silver Lave Blvd (This is two blocks away from meeting point).

This is the first of many exquisite adventures through parts of Silver Lake that will expose you to some of the most treasured architectural gems. Among them are beautiful views of Downtown through the trees as they arch over the streets; the moonlight as it shimmers off the Silver Lake & Ivanhoe reservoirs; and the stars as you climb the many stairways.
