Circumnavigate Elysian Park - Postponed to March 22

Details
A complete circuit of Elysian Park along with sections of Echo Park, Angelino Heights and Chinatown. Panoramic views and historic neighborhoods. NOT for beginners.
Between 6 and 7 miles, with over half that distance on trails along the seldom hiked northern perimeter (between Broadway and Stadium Way) and frequently hiked western perimeter of Elysian Park. Starting from the boathouse on Echo Park Lake, we will hike east through Angelino Heights and Chinatown before turning north on Broadway for about a mile before entering Elysian Park.
We will return to the boathouse around noon.
Park on the streets or in the public lots between Echo Park Lake and Sunset Blvd.
Look for me, accompanied by two small black dogs (thought by some to resemble miniature black bears), near the entrance of the boathouse between 8:20 and 8:30 a.m.
The group will depart promptly at 8:30 a.m., with or without you. If you are not familiar with the area, plan to arrive a few minutes early. It might take you 5 to 10 minutes to walk from where you park to the boathouse.
My mobile number is 323-354-0168.
Joining this hike is entirely voluntary and participants assume all associated risks. It is each hiker's responsibility to ensure that s/he is in sufficient fitness and health to participate, with appropriate provisions and equipment.
