Join us apes as we climb 10,834 foot San Jacinto peak in the pines above Palm Springs. Hike distance is 11 miles round trip. The Tramway takes you from zero to 8500 feet in ten minutes, and the temperature will drop from 100 to 70. Then we hike 5.5 miles up to the peak, gaining 2300 feet in elevation. We return the way we came, except walking backwards and juggling three pine cones. Just checking if you're reading .....
