An introduction to the benefits of Pilates Method training on Pilates apparatus.

Event host, Tannis Kobrinsky, owner of fully equipped newly opened Pilates Studio and art gallery, Pilates & Arts ~ Echo Park. (also fellow hiker in LA Hiking)

You wanna hike and get in shape....well....another addition to making the bod look and feel nifty is Pilates ... an excellent mind-body movement practice that strengthens the core, increases body awareness and flexibility.

It's a fun, stress reducing way to tone mind and body, and anyone can do it.

Tannis is an internationally known mind-body movement expert with 40 years of teaching experience. Producer and star of the award winning Pilates Fusion DVD "WELL worked out with Tannis", and a regular contributor to Pilates Style Magazine, she's taught Pilates for 12 years.

She's thrilled to invite you to her new studio so that you can learn about Pilates. Tannis and other Pilates & Arts instructors will be on hand to help you meet , and use, the Pilates machines.

After that we will walk to Elysian Park for a 2 + mile hike (level 3 of 10) led by Lee and Tannis.
