Meet at Eaton Canyon Nature Center - This will be Daylight Savings time so be sure to advance your clock one hour on Saturday night. Otherwise you will be getting there an hour too late.

I am starting at 9 cuz it's a Sunday hike. Warning: The Nature Center parking lot can get full pretty quick, but if it is, there is street parking up on Altadena Drive.

Walking on easy trails and fireroads.
3 1/2 hours total hike and eat time, walking pace- uphill slow- downhill medium

Very fit beginners can do this.

Hike description: This medium hike but a fairly long one on a continuously up hill grade. We will start at the Eaton Canyon Nature Center parking lot. We will walk on a fireroad until we get to the horse trail. We will go up the horse trail. It is a steep one person trail. Then we get to the Mt. Wilson Toll Road. Have your toll money ready. They charge to hike there (only kidding)

Then we will walk up the fire road for a couple of miles until we get to Henninger Flats where we will rest, eat our snacks, and socialize and enjoy the view.
