Mount Wilson - The California Six Pack "Slow-Poke"

Details
http://photos3.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/3/6/d/a/event_121274042.jpegThis will be a series of six hikes known as “The California Six Pack,” spread out over the summer, and culminating with a summit of the highest point in Southern California, Mount San Gorgonio. Four of the six are day hikes, with two of them being overnighters (backpacking). Please click on the link (http://www.everytrail.com/guide/socal-six-pack-of-peaks) and read the descriptions as this may not be for everyone.
As is my normal practice of doing them “Slow-Poke” style, we will be sipping rather than chugging our six pack. LOL.
I am really looking for people that can dedicate themselves to doing ALL of the hikes as opposed to picking up just one or two. As such, I may be adjusting the RSVP list to reflect this and will not leave anyone out who has stayed dedicated and made every hike, but then found themselves bumped by someone who is just signing on. Also, do not sign up if you cannot get the equipment required: tent, sleeping bag, backpack, etc. to do an overnight trip.
The schedule will be as follows:
Mount Wilson – Sunday May 27th.
Cucamonga Peak – Sunday June 10th.
Mount Baldy – Sunday June 24th.
Mount San Bernardino (overnight) – Sat/Sun July 7&8
Mount San Jacinto – July 21st.
Mount San Gorgonio (overnight) – Sat/Sun August 4&5
We will do our first summit of Mount Wilson by taking the trail out of The Chantry Flats Parking lot.
Directions to the trailhead:From the Foothill Freeway(210) in Arcadia, exit on Santa Anita Avenue and drive six miles north to its end at Chantry Flat. The trail begins across the road from the parking lot. (Lat:34.19589 Lon:-118.02285)
Be sure to bring plenty of water and pack a lunch as this is a strenuous all day hike of 12 miles.
