10 to 12 miles, 2 pm until sunset,
1500 FEET ELEVATION GAIN
start at Santa Inez trailhead on Vereda de la Montura,
hike thru a shady canyon to lower caves, then up a sunny ridge to Eagle rock and its caves. Then we continue on the backbone trail to the Cathedral rocks. Then we follow the Temescal ridge fire road south to Skull rocks. Then we backtrack a little and follow Palisades drive downhill to our cars or skateboards.
Chow afterwards at Souplantation which is located at the intersection of Montana and San Vicente in Brentwood.
