Hoop Dance is a fun, functional fitness that's also entertainment.
Accessible to just about everyone ages five and up, there are instant smiles for anyone who steps in the Hoop. Feel good hormones are abundant as the practitioner realizes - "I can do this!" Then, the perspiration starts as Hoop Dance - a legitimate fitness modality - actually provides a low impact, full body, cardio workout that can burn 600+ calories an hour. Entertainment? If you've ever watched a "Hooper" you've been mesmerized by the spiral patterns and joy radiating from their spin.
I Hoop Dance because it's joyful and meditative. I teach Hoop Dance because it brings people together and it helps "non-dancers" find their unique flow and inner rhythm. I perform because it lightens hearts and ignites the love vibration.
