Let's Talk Movies (Outside)!
It’s springtime and we are going to celebrate by talking about movies in a park.
We will start with "Last Movie Seen", a roundtable discussion about a movie that you have recently seen. Come prepared to share a short description about the plot (no spoilers), how you saw it, and whether you recommend it or warn against it. It's a great way to develop a list of movies to check out.
For our second discussion, we are going to celebrate Speed month in the city of Indianapolis.
So, how do you like your movies, fast or slow? Bring to us a name of a favorite slow movie, more than 2 1/2 hours, and a beloved fast movie, less than 1:45. Try to choose movies from the last 10 years. We will discuss what we love about both types of films.
This is a physically distanced event. We are sitting at a group of 9 picnic tables, and many of us bring our own chairs, so there is plenty of opportunity to spread out. Plus, we are outside! Some of us come a little early to eat dinner, Feel free to join us.
If the Indianapolis weather does not cooperate that day, we will move the meetup to PHOSaigon. Be sure to check the comments that day before heading to the park in the rain.
