Dracula Untold is a 2014 film directed by Gary Shore in his feature film debut, and written by Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless. Based on an original screenplay by Sazama and Sharpless, the plot creates an origin story for the title character, rather than using the storyline of Bram Stoker's Dracula. In this adaptation, Dracula is the historical figure Vlad III "the Impaler" Dracula and transforms into his monstrous alter ego to protect his family and kingdom from Ottoman Sultan Mehmed II. Luke Evans portrays the title character, with Sarah Gadon, Dominic Cooper, Art Parkinson and Charles Dance cast in supporting roles. Here's the trailer:

Let's Talk Movies in a restaurant

Fall is here, and it is getting dark early, so we are going to Talk Movies in a Restaurant rather than the park.
We will start with "Last Movie Seen", a roundtable discussion about a movie that you have recently seen. Come prepared to share a short description about the plot (no spoilers), how you saw it, and whether you recommend it or warn against it. It's a great way to develop a list of movies to check out.
For our second discussion, we are going to celebrate Noirvember a few days late. Please share with us 2 noir movies that you have seen lately. Please choose from two of these categories: traditional classic film noir, neo-noir, International noir. We look forward to talking to you about the darker side of the street.
We will be meeting at the big round tables on the right side of PhoSaigon.

Five Nights at Freddy's 2 is a film based on the video game series Five Nights at Freddy's created by Scott Cawthon and the sequel to the 2023 film adaptation. Like the previous film, the film was directed by Emma Tammi and written by Cawthon. Josh Hutcherson, Elizabeth Lail, Piper Rubio, and Matthew Lillard reprise their roles from the previous film, with Skeet Ulrich, Wayne Knight, Mckenna Grace, and Teo Briones joining the cast. In the film, which is set one year after the previous film, Abby Schmidt (Rubio) sneaks out to reconnect with her animatronic friends, leading to events that reveal the true origin of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. Unseen is a 2023 film directed by Yoko Okumura in her feature directorial debut, and written by Salvatore Cardoni and Brian Rawlins. The film stars Midori Francis, Jolene Purdy and Missi Pyle.
The plot follows gas station clerk Sam who receives a call from Emily, a nearly blind woman who is running from her murderous ex in the woods. Emily must survive the ordeal with Sam being her eyes from afar using a video call.
