What we’re about
Indianapolis Ambassadors is a group civic-minded individuals who share a goal of helping others and the community of Indianapolis through volunteerism, and of meeting new people with similar interests. In addition to the many volunteer events our members may sign up for, we also offer many social and educational events. We also hold monthly meetings in various interesting locations throughout the city, featuring a short talk from a guest speaker as well as announcements and opportunities to sign up for our events. Our ages range from 21 to 70+, with the most common age group being 50-somethings. Our website is at http://www.indyambassadors.org/

Come to the May General Meeting of the Indianapolis Ambassadors. On May 8th, the second Wednesday in May, learn about volunteering with the Indianapolis Opera at the Basile Opera Center.
"The Indianapolis Opera is uniquely positioned to support emerging professional artists, inspire children and adults of all ages, and expand community access to one of the world's oldest and culturally rich art forms. And we do these all of things, and more, with your help, so that artists can pursue, and audiences can experience, something so grand and beautiful that it cannot be expressed into words - its beauty must be sung. "

Calling all Ambassadors! Volunteers are needed to help with tents at the Earth Day Indiana (EDI) Annual Festival!
The Indianapolis Ambassadors will have a large presence to support EDI and their mission to “promote environmental protection, conservation of natural resources, and sustainable living.”
Every year, we volunteer for this this event. It is the only planned, in-person recruiting opportunity that we pursue.
Attractions at this family-friendly event include:
- over 110 exhibitors
- live music
- food trucks
- beer garden
Volunteer Responsibilities include:
- guiding attendees through the exhibitor tents
- answering questions
- giving directions
