What: Road Rally - Scavenger Hunt of Downtown

We?ve mentioned it in the General Meetings, we?ve put it in the Social handouts, but we just put it on the social calendar (sorry for being so late!!!). The 2009 Road Rally is this weekend. We will be meeting in the parking lot across from the Easley Winery, located at 205 N. College Avenue downtown at 12:30 this Saturday, August 15th. The Road Rally will be a eco-friendly walking scavenger hunt around downtown. Although this is eco-friendly, we stress that this is a WALKING scavenger hunt. No cars, bicycles, scooters, Pon-es, roller-skates, etc. The Scavenger hunt is less than 5 miles and should take less than 2 hours. We will finish at Easley?s Winery for the Groovin? in the Garden to hear the musical talents of Acoustic Catfish, who plays from 2 to 5 pm on Saturday. The winning team wins a bottle of wine of their choice. Each team will need a digital camera or phone to take pictures along the way.

I have heard a lot of ooh?s and ahh?s during the General Meetings, but haven?t heard who exactly is interested in joining in the fun. Please email us at [address removed] to let us know if you are going to join us. If we don?t have a big enough response, we will cancel the event, but I guarantee this will be a fun time!
