Mini Painting Retreat and Exchange!

Did you sign up for the Reaper Kickstarter? Uh-hu.. and did you upgrade to the Vampire set.. uh-hu.. and do you already have unpainted mini's laying around from 2003 that you bought for a campaign that ended in 2006? Yeah, me too. :)

Or, perhaps you are an infinitely reasonable sort of person and have a couple of mini's you picked up recently for your Pathfinder game but aren't sure how to dive in.

We will rally at 9am to collect a couple of your unwanted mini's and then place them into Easter eggs. Participants will then don bunny ears while the Reaper-Bunny hides the eggs in the yard. The mini-hunt will then commence around 10am. Afterward we will have some light mini painting theory instruction and will paint mini's while watching fantasy movies for the rest of the afternoon.

You don't have to participate in the mini exchange if you don't care to.. you are welcome to just come by to socialize and paint your own mini's later in the afternoon.

I'll fire up the hot dog and popcorn machines for food but you'd best bring whatever it is you like to drink along with you. Any contribution of snacks/ Easter candy is heartily appreciated. I do have some paints and supplies that you are welcome to use but no brushes to lend.

Well behaved/ well supervised/ or otherwise sleeping children are welcome to participate... if there is any threat that they would eat a miniature and pour paint on the hardwood floors they do not meet the first three criteria. Let me know how many and how old they are.. if there are enough little ones I'll set up a special ~tarped~ workspace for them to enjoy.

There will be space for board games as well if anyone is inclined.

This will be a fee'd event to cover the popcorn, hot dogs, and other party supplies.
