This is a real world social networking group designed to help gamers of all types meet one another and create a city wide Gen Con friend culture 365 days a year. We will try to link all the open games around the city so that you can check our calendar to see what's going on.. hopefully we can run our calendar like a con schedule with a variety of activities, locations, and dates. We have gamer get-togethers all around the city where we enjoy each other's company and make new friends at least once a month... you are invited! This is the group of friends every gamer should be lucky enough have. :)
Family Time Games has a great space with tons of huge tables and an awesome demo library. They also provide a variety of snacks and drinks for purchase, but feel free to bring your own food. We generally have 4-5 games going at once because a large amount of people do not use meetup to sign up. Feel free to stop by and jump right in at a table!
Saltire Games has a great space with lots of tables and an awesome demo library. They also provide a variety of snacks and drinks for purchase, but feel free to bring your own food. Some nights there is a focus on a particular game or type of game but there is always open gaming tables available. See Saltire Games on facebook to see if there is a tournament or special event going on, and always feel free to stop by and jump right in at a table
Books & Brews is now open in Zionsville and like our Indy location, we're gamer friendly. We will host a free meet-up every Thursday similar to our Sunday and Tuesday events at the Indy store. Participants are encouraged to bring their own games or play any of our house games (we mostly have the typical line-up of board games at the Indy store). We're family-friendly in Zionsville plus Kids Eat Free on Thursdays so feel free to turn it into a family night. I put 7pm-10pm for the event but feel free to come early or stay later (we stay open as long as people are eating/drinking and having fun). Hope to see you there! Cheers!
We've had a lot of interest in the Board Game League but right now we're leaning toward just keeping it as a "Board Game Club" and meet-up, offering some rewards for people who come on a regular basis. Let me know what you think. We really appreciate it! Thanks!
