Final Newsletter from Dungeons & Dragons Encounters

D&D Encounters

By now you've gotten a chance to join a heroic band of survivors and venture across the treacherous deserts of Athas. You've defeated enemies, solved puzzles, completed quests -- you're a regular D&D? Encounters hero! And hopefully you've cashed in on the title by earning Renown Points to use towards exclusive rewards. (Don't forget, these rewards carry over from season to season!)

Season Two of D&D? Encounters is about half-way done. The Dark Sun campaign runs until September 15th, but hey, you've gotten a lot accomplished! Surviving an obsidian shard storm? Fighting off Kanks, goblins, dust devils, a ssurran shaman, an ankheg and skeletons? No easy feat! And you're not even done yet. We hope you'll continue your brave venture across Athas, and please let us know how it goes. We can only imagine what new challenges you'll face in the coming weeks. Can it really get any more extreme?!

In case your Meetup hasn't joined in on the D&D? Encounters fun just yet, it's not too late! D&D makes it easy to jump in at any time by providing a session-by-session recap of what's happened so far this season. You can check out the recap here.

And if you're still looking for a gaming store to play the Dark Sun campaign, use this store locator to find participating local retailers.

The D&D? Encounters play experience does not need to be confined to your Wednesday night Meetups. Wizards of the Coast is on Twitter and Facebook where you can connect with them to receive weekly messages, often offering special in-game benefits or buffs that affect your current play session. You should also feel free to share your stories, post photos, join the discussion and, of course, show off your heroic deeds at the D&D Community Group. Click Here

See you at D&D Encounters!
