Announcing a new Meetup for Jax Freestyle Book Club for Real Readers!
What: Books to inspire good talk for that President/Valentine month.
When: February 10,[masked]:15 PM
Where: Click the link below to find out!
Meetup Description: Freestyle book talk, of course, with as much or little wining and dining as you choose.
Hi to all. We had a good January meeting at The Grape. One member suggestion that I took up was to scale back the size of the current booklist. I tried to retain all the books that members have said they were reading, and have added the three that elicited the most interest at the meeting.
Some of the selections are long, but please do remember that it's fine to read and discuss books a third at a time, more or less, if your schedule doesn't allow for you to finish the book that interests you most by the next meeting.
Please do remember, when you RSVP, to indicate which book(s) you're reading or have already read. BTW, at the January meeting, the strongest interest seemed to be in Strange Piece of Paradise, although of course that could change.
