Adly's Foray Into High Availability on Amazon, our Rambo Architecture
by Dr. Josiah Carlson, Ad.ly
Amazon's AWS products offer a wide variety of services to help companies build out their services without needing to wait for hardware deliveries in a classic server build out. With convenience comes a limitation on reliability. In this talk, we will discuss what Adly did to build an infrastructure to serve ad requests with the capability to stay up even in the case of random AWS failures.

Modern system administration automates configuration management using state of the art tools. Here is a demo of Cfengine, the open source configuration management tool with the longest track record, a large user base, and cutting edge features, presented by one of Cfengine's and LOPSA's community leaders.
