Picnic

Richmond Park is lovely in summer, join us all for warm socialising and hopefully warm weather (be prepared for cooler weather later in the afternoon too though).

If you also fancy a ride on the river, a boat departs from Westminster Millenium Pier at 12pm (see http://www.tfl.gov.uk/assets/downloads/rive... (http://www.tfl.gov.uk/assets/downloads/river-guide.pdf) if you are interested) and arrives at Richmond Pier at 2pm, plenty of time to meet the rest. Anyone welcome on the boat trip, but since it costs 15 quid (cheaper if you have a travelcard) and takes 2 hours, its not compulsory. I guess it'll be easy to find a cafe/pub nearby in case it ends up raining. But hopefully it won't! Take a note of phone numbers in case!

Finally, I think it'd be great if everyone could bring something home-made, maybe something from your region for the non-Londoners? If you can't be bothered, just pop around the nearest shop and bring some drinks :)
