The Dim Sum meetup that so many of you were keen on has been scheduled! What

晚上好 (Wǎnsh?ng hǎo)
That's good evening in Mandarin, because we're off to eat sum dim sum on Wednesday 11 August, and we'd love you to come join us for great chinese food and even better conversation among a friendly, open, relaxing group of fellow-minded bisexuals. We haven't had a dinner meet in quite a while and I, for one, have missed them.
Its also a great chance for anyone who can't make the usual Thursdays to come along, and it'll be our last meet before BiCon on 28th. So if you want to go to that but won't know anyone, why not come along to this first and you'll have a few people you already know at BiCon (at least me, anyway!).
I haven't fully decided which restaurant to go for; trying to keep the price reasonable and it'll probably still be around chinatown (ie right next to soho). Top choices from suggestions/my experience are New World, maybe the Golden Dragon, or a Ping-pong (or similar style). The first two are fairly traditional, Ping pong is westernised, serves cocktails instead of much of a beer choice, and is slightly posher and a bit more expensive (maybe ?20-something-ish per head upwards?), but quite reasonable value for it. I think the others might be better choices for us, but please make any strong preferences clear in your rsvp comment.
Also, please keep your RSVP up to date as I plan to book a table nearer the time.
Incidentally, you pronounce the text at the top as "warn shung how" (the "warn" as in barn but with a w, not as in warning). According to yahoo answers, anyway. And thanks to Kake_Pugh on flickr for this meetup's CC-licenced photo icon of a mixed dim sum batch (just giving credit, they're nothing to do with the group).
