Functional programming techniques in object-oriented languages

Functional programming is being heralded as the saviour to all our concurrency problems. However, ask anyone where to start and you'll frequently be pointed toward Haskell, Clojure, or another language that would be very hard to squeeze into your existing legacy code.

This session will provide you with tools for introducing functional techniques into your object-oriented code base without changing language. We will be writing code, so bring your laptops.
