In conversation: Agent Louise Buckley on opening pages

Former editor turned Literary Agent at the Zeno Agency, Louise Buckley, (http://zenoagency.com/about-zeno/)is now actively looking for new authors.

Louise will join us for a lively discussion on how to craft the perfect opening page, what any first chapter needs to show to a reader and what makes the best impression in the submission pile. Louise is seeking novels in most fiction genres, including historical, YA, sci-fi, women's fiction, crime, thrillers etc.

There will be a long Q&A session so do come prepared and ask Louise anything you want to know about editing/polishing your work before submission. This is an exciting opportunity to meet Louise and pick her brains in an informal setting. Designed for writers who have finished at least one draft of a novel and beyond.

7-7:15pm: arrival + introductions
7:15-8pm: a conversation with Louise
8-8:45pm: open Q&A session
8:45-9pm: last questions + closing remarks
9-9:30pm: social drinks in the bar downstairs

This event will be informal but limited to only 30 writers in the group so book now or miss out. I expect tickets to sell out super fast!
