January Brooks is a native of Colorado, a wife, and a mom. Jan also is a firm believer in giving back to her community, so she is active in many ways. While her efforts include working at the Marion House Soup Kitchen and helping with the relief efforts in Manitou Springs, she recently recognized another way she could help her community.

Brooks has stepped forward and make a difference for El Paso County and Colorado Springs, by filing her paperwork to run for for Senate District 11 in the upcoming recall election, September 10, 2013. Jan teaches her daughter about the United States Constitution. She understands that the Second Amendment might be more important then the First Amendment. Without guns, free speech is impossible.

Jan Brooks needs your help. She needs several hundred signatures in order to get on the recall ballot, set to unseat Colorado Senate President John Morris. John Morris sponsored the most tyrannical gun control bill this year, Senate Bill 196, which would have made everyone who ever owned a particular firearm responsible for its use, from the manufacturer, to retail store, to citizen.

Jan also needs money. After the signatures are collected she will need yard signs, robo calls, and other marketing tools. Please go to her web site and donate:
