The Libertarian Party of Colorado welcomes all liberty minded Americans to join the ground-swell of activism focused on preserving our freedoms. Our calendar is packed with events, from weekly lunches and happy hours, enveloping stuffing parties, protests at the capital, expert speakers, manning booths at the People's Fair or Taste of Colorado, to debates and candidate forums. Libertarians are passionate about their 'More Liberty-Less Government' philosophy, and our calendar reflects their commitment. Join the movement, make a difference!
Liberty on the Rocks is a happy hour for libertarians and anarcho-capitalists looking to meet others, build their knowledge and friendships over beers, food and great conversation.
We are a local chapter of a larger national network (www.libertyontherocks.org), as well as the very first! The network is run by the national organizers and has a minimum of 15-20 people at every happy hour, which is hosted twice a month from 6-9 PM. Visit our website at http://denver.libertyontherocks.org to sign up for our email alerts! You can also find us on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Denver-Liberty-On-The-Rocks/125863590783788).
Join us anytime between 6-9 PM in the back room at Choppers Sports Grill. Anyone is welcome! This is a very informal happy hour although we do bring in speakers for about 20-minutes at each HH and sometimes host activities/games. But we are always welcoming to newcomers and anyone interested in the ideas of liberty and freedom!

For 80%+ of our meetups we have guest speakers. These speakers can nationally renowned (e.g. Richard Epstein, Russell Roberts) to local speakers of interest (e.g. District Attorney Stanley Garnett).
If you wish to be informed about our upcoming local speakers, please subscribe to my mailing list by going to http://lpboulder.org/?page_id=466
You can see a list of the recordings of our previous guests here: http://lpboulder.org/?page_id=761
How do we persuade?
Libertarians are often engineers, and it seems most engineers have a leaning toward liberty and avoid the emotional appeal..but statist Democrats(Guilt) and statist Republicans(fears) are more responsive to the emotional.
