Join us to learn the stories behind three local tech startup businesses: SnowShoe, MobileIgniter and Fishidy. As usual, meetup starts at 6pm, presentations at 6:30pm sharp. Each presenter will speak for about 20 minutes.
SnowShow Stamp (Hardware for authenticating smartphone transactions) with Matt Lea
The SnowShoe Stamp is a mobile authentication device that solves authentication problems commonly found in current technologies such as QR codes, NFC, and Bluetooth. The SnowShoe Stamp uses the smartphone's touch screen interface to convey information from the stamp to your mobile device. We are allowing the world to use the SnowShoe Stamp as a way to intuitively and securely verify a mobile user's transactions. The SnowShoe Stamp can be used to authenticate any thing from redeeming a mobile offer to opening a door secured by an electronic locking system. Your imagination is the limit!

Fishidy.com was founded in Madison, WI by hardcore anglers who love fishing, maps and technology. The company believes in lean startup principles and agile development. Brian Jensen, President of Fishidy, will speak on the company's history, technology stack, and its Lean Startup operational practices.
