What:

An 1 hour session where you focus on defining/developing, refining and challenging your business concept. Specifically designed for entrepreneurs with a business idea defined, even running, and want to get to the next level now.

"My passion is turning technology into business. Currently I work as a freelancer and part time entrepreneur. People see me as an innovative thinker and creator. For 12+ years I have done a lot of coding, project management and both technical and management consulting. I am a public speaker, was guest lecturer at Erasmus University and have many published articles.

I have a cum laude master's degree in Economics and Informatics and a degree in Computer Science. I was a co-founder of Mr. Link, lived and worked for Pebble in Silicon Valley and won a total of 5 prizes at 2 The Next Web Hack Battle competitions with the energy savings game Electric Vampires and RFID-enabled Spotify Music Cards (NFC). Also I was the technical mind of Culture Around The Corner, the internationally recognized and press covered location based service for the Dutch cultural sector in 2004. The 'love for the internet' I got from my colleagues at the award winning Delft-based company Zappwerk.

You will find me friendly, open and direct. Always determined towards the end goal."

How:

A 60-minute session. Here you will develop (or refine) your business model and find ways to move your model forward in the 'real world', under his coaching.

The outputs:

Beyond an intense, highly motivating session, you will receive an e-mail summary of the findings/conclusions, including your new business model canvas and a set of actions to which you have committed that is going to lead you to the next stage of your venture.

What we require on your part:

Guiripreneurs was created with a vision: be the community to enable all kinds of international entrepreneurs to reach the next level. Not only the facebook inspired, but also the freelancer, the restaurant owner, the solo dreamer!

We had been asked to give even more and create 1-on-1 sessions, so we can help you focus and get results. That's what we organized.

But rather than charging a small fee for a very valuable session, we decided to continue our own way: Keep everything open. Therefore, these sessions will be open to all, and you will be asked to donate whatever you think is the value of what you got.

We're very proud of continuing to push guiripreneurs towards our vision, challenging pretty much all status quos we face!

Therefore, like wikipedia or a NGO, you will receive a link so you can donate whatever you want for this session. We recommend € 30 for the time and value given: one-to-one sessions with consultants and entrepreneurs who have been where you are now, and will prepare the session and make sure you're ready to get all the value from it.

The donations will go to our non-lucrative association, to cover our main costs (web, preparation, time, doing a better website with a searchable DB, developping the future time exchange....) and will go to our non-lucrative project to support a new entrepreneur association in a Spanish University and help them make it sustainable. We believe we can have a huge impact on the entrepreneurial culture there !

In addition, you will be required to complete a certain amount of “homework” in preparation for the session.
