Tizen has 1500€ to give to the developer who will develop the best Tizen app. More details during the workshop.

Intel is organizing a Tizen DevLab in Madrid ! All developers will be able to discover all the opportunities brought by the new Linux Foundation's OS.

Tizen (https://www.tizen.org/) is the new Open Source operating system. From the Fall 2013, Samsung will launch a new upscale mobile phone running Tizen !

Smartphones, tablets, PC's, cars, connected TV… opportunities for apps developers are enormous.

We designed two identical 4-hour workshops to give you special insights about Tizen :

1st workshop : 9:30 am - 1:30 pm 2nd workshop : 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm During this workshop, you will get started on Tizen with Intel's team. Intel will present how to develop a Tizen app and help you get familiar with developing on this new OS.

At the end you all will get an amazing surprise!

Come and join us at the Tizen DevLab to get started, bring your laptop and be count among the first developers to be on Tizen !

Each registrant is given a USB drive with the Tizen SDK for Windows, OSX and Ubuntu.

Tizen SDK Overview: An introduction to the Tizen SDK (30 min)

Tizen Design Principles: A presentation on Tizen UI Elements (60 min)

Tizen Lab 1: Practical experience and installation of the Tizen SDK (30 min)

Tizen Web Runtime Device APIs: A presentation on the HTML5 web runtime and the device APIs (60 minutes)

Tizen Lab 2 Hands on: Live demo! (30 min)

Julio Cesar Staude

My name is Julio Cesar Staude, I’ve worked at Intel in QA Testing for the Intel AppUp Program, also did worked for Meego testing the UI. Then Started to work on the marketing side of AppUp Program for Latin America and Spain.

After that I began to work on Tizen as a Community Manager for Spanish Communities.

And the future… I don’t know what will bring to me.
