Pan’s Garden is a restarted successful ritual group that is a combination of Wicca, Druidism and Asatru. It is democratically run and is currently co-run by Shannon Marquardt and Liz Lee.

Come in costume! There will be a voting box on the dining table with papers and pen to cast your vote for the best costume, and the winner gets a prize!

Bring something, if you like that you associate with a departed loved one to place on the alter.

Please bring a healthy, low-cal vegetarian potluck dish to share. Please do not bring junk food like sweets, chips, soda or fast food.

RITUAL ETIQUETTE AND ENJOYMENT GUIDELINES

Here are some guidelines for those unfamiliar with Pagan rituals:

Everyone must treat everyone else with civility and common courtesy at all times.

Consecrated objects on or near altars absorb energy easily (become "charged"); please do not touch items without the owner's permission.

Personal purification and ritual bathing should be performed before you arrive. Ritual requires a clear mind, so please refrain from the use of drugs or alcohol before arriving.

If a ritual circle is cast, it becomes sacred space and should not be disrupted lightly. If there is an emergency and you need to leave, ask a cast member to open a gate to let you out of circle.

When the ritual begins it is time to set aside casual socializing and focus on the group without causing disruptions. There will be plenty of time during the feast for conversation and merrymaking. While humor and group participation are often a part of ritual, any laughter and spontaneity should be within the context of the ritual.

Children are welcome and should be appropriately supervised by their parents. Keep in mind that, as with other places of worship the rituals aren’t necessarily child-centric. Pets may be welcome depending on the venue and should also be closely supervised. With the exception of working dogs, please ask the owner/renter of the venue ahead of time if pets are welcome, and what kinds. Please do not reveal the identities of anyone you see at these rituals when discussing them outside the Pagan community. In the spirit of maintaining everyone’s confidentiality at these events, please also do not photograph anyone without their expressed permission.

Pan’s Garden performs all rituals while clothed, and all participants must be likewise.

If you do not comply with these guidelines, or if you show disrespect to the goddesses and gods or our religion(s) you may be asked to leave and not be invited back.
