Make:SF Feb 1st @ Tech Liminal

Hello Makers,

We are back this month with an electronics project. Ever need a bit of extra charge on for your iPod, or phone? Then use the MintyBoost! This project is a great to learn how to solder and see some neat circuits in action. After the project, for those interested, there will be an explanation of how the boost circuit can take 3V from the AAs and produce the 5V needed for charging. The fee will be $20 to cover the cost of the materials for the MintyBoost Kit

Also, be sure to check out our resident MakerBot. This is 3D printing on your desktop and anyone can use it. If you are interested, talk to Anca about reserving time on the machine and getting supplies.

Finally, we have new Arduino Uno's for $30. With these you can pretty much do any Arduino project you want and you do not even have to pay for shipping.

This fun-for-all-ages event starts at 7:00pm. Children under 14 need to be accompanied by an adult.

New to Make:SF? Here is what you can do:

- Have an idea? Come and we will help you get started making it.
