We are the Metairie Unit of Parliamentarians which is a division of the National Association of Parliamentarians and affiliated with the Louisiana Association of Parliamentarians.

The object of group is to:
* To bring into close cooperation, the Parliamentarians of the community for study and practice of parliamentary procedure;
* To promote the objectives of the National Association of Parliamentarians;
* To adhere to the ethics of that organization;
* To promote the study of parliamentary procedure and the educational program of the NAP Department of Education and Registration.
