We are the Metairie Unit of Parliamentarians which is a division of the National Association of Parliamentarians and affiliated with the Louisiana Association of Parliamentarians.
The object of group is to:
* To bring into close cooperation, the Parliamentarians of the community for study and practice of parliamentary procedure;
* To promote the objectives of the National Association of Parliamentarians;
* To adhere to the ethics of that organization;
* To promote the study of parliamentary procedure and the educational program of the NAP Department of Education and Registration.

This will be the last meeting of 2009. To celebrate, we will have a Christmas party in addition to our business meeting and educational program. (Members are requested to contact Lynn Skidmore or me to coordinate what food and beverages are needed.)
