About us
We are the Metairie Unit of Parliamentarians which is a division of the National Association of Parliamentarians and affiliated with the Louisiana Association of Parliamentarians. The object of group is to: * To bring into close cooperation, the Parliamentarians of the community for study and practice of parliamentary procedure; * To promote the objectives of the National Association of Parliamentarians; * To adhere to the ethics of that organization; * To promote the study of parliamentary procedure and the educational program of the NAP Department of Education and Registration. http://parliamentarians.org/la/metairie/

Metairie Unit - National Association of Parliamentarians Monthly Meeting
Please join us Monday night for the meeting of the Metairie Unit parliamentarians and other parliamentary enthusiasts. (All meetings are on the first Monday, with the exception of the September meeting.) As always, friends and guests are most welcome! Our in-person meeting starts at 7 pm central. If you are in the area, please visit.
Each month, we have a parliamentary educational program via Zoom at 7:30 pm, following our in-person meeting. All programs are FREE, suitable to all knowledge levels, and many have CEU credits.
In the remainder of 2026, we have generous and talented presenters provide education to unit members and guests via Zoom, at 7:30 pm central for 30-60 minutes.
