Special Star Trek Attack Wing Tournament

In addition to the official Wiz Kids OP Dominion War events running monthly, I am also going to test out running a monthly unofficial tournament using the scenarios that come with the game. We will start with the scenario found in the latest wave's Klingon ship: "Escort the Chancellor's ship" (Rules are pasted below).

Here is how the tournament will work: Each participant will come with two, pre-assembled fleets- one for each side of the scenario. Before each round we will flip a coin and the winner will get to pick the side he or she wants to play in that round. We will play round robin style. Cost to enter is $5 and you receive 1 raffle ticket when you enter. Each victory gets you another raffle ticket and we will raffle off prizes depending on the number of players who participate, but at a minimum one free expansion ship will be given away as a prize this week. I think that this raffle style prize system will be a nice change from the more competitive "winners take all" format of the official tournaments.

Special rules for this month's scenario:

Setup: Klingon player, 120 points for exactly 3 ships, one of which MUST be a K'T'inga class ship. (if you don't have a K'T'inga DONT WORRY, you can either buy one at the store or one will be provided to you). Gorkon MUST be one of your captains on any of the three ships (same as above, if you dont have gorkon one will be provided).

When Klingon player assigns captains to the 3 ships, place the captain cards face down by the ship and do NOT place a captain token on the ship's base.

Enemy player: 120 squadron points used however player desires.

Place a planet token on the opposite side of the Klingon start area, in the center directly 4" from the edge of the board. Klingon ships start in a 12x4 zone in the South edge of the board. Enemy ships may setup in either a 12x4 zone in the center of the East edge of teh board and/or in a similar zone along the Western edge of the board.

OBJECTIVE:
Klingon player wins if: Chancellor Gorkon is beamed down onto planet Earth.

Enemy players wins if: The ship with Chancellor Gorkon on it is destroyed.

Special Rule:
The Klingon captains are all said to have a value of three while unrevealed. Klingon player may reveal a captain at any time and begin using that captain card as normal. When a ship is destroyed, its captain card must be revealed.

Any Klingon ship within range 1 of planet Earth gains the following action: "If your ship is not cloaked, disable any remaining shields and beam your captain down to the planet" Represent this by placing a mission token onto the planet, leave the captain on the ship for combat purposes.

Note: If the ship with chancellor gorkon on board is destroyed during combat on the turn in which he is beamed down, the Enemy players wins.
