Sin City 2: A Dame To Kill For (3D) - Cineworld Bargain Tuesdays

So it took the better part of a decade but it's here... Sin City 2: A Dame To Kill For, ladies and gents.  Bruce Willis, Jessica Alba, Rosario Dawson and Mickey Rourke are all back and joined by new stars to the series Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Josh Brolin and Eva Green as well as many others.

Based on the second graphic novel in Frank Miller's Sin City series the film tells four intertwined stories about the residents of the corrupt and violent Basin City, three of which serve as prequels to the original movie and two of which were specially written by Miller (also on screenwriting and directing duty here) for the film in order to ensure that even fans of the source material would have something new to get their teeth into.  New characters include Green's deadly Ava and Gordon-Levitt's exceptionally gifted card shark, both of whom play their part in an over-arching tale of revenge against the unscrupulous Senator Roark.

I was hoping to give this a weekend screening but I've got something on the weekend of Aug 30/31 that means I'm jam-packed and I just couldn't work cheap Tuesdays at Cineworld it is!

I've gone for 3D because that was the best time/cost I could find (under £10 if you log in and book online!).  If you have your own glasses I recommend you bring them as Cineworld will charge you if you need to buy them on the night (£1, last time I had to do that, but that was a long while ago so no promises that still holds).

Those who have RSVP'd will receive full details the night before the screening and we'll aim to grab a drink after the film.  Meet up time before the movie may be slightly shorter this time because I'll be coming from work but as Cineworld loves ads I doubt that's going to be an issue.

You can book your tickets here.  Please note the screening time is actually 6.50pm, but Meet Up doesn't allow listings that aren't for the quarter hours.

I can't say it was as good as the first but I really enjoyed it, lot of fun. The new additions were very well cast.

Meet up details have been sent, please let me know if you don't get them by morning and I'll send them to you via the conversation feature (the speech bubble up top :D). It's worth checking your spam filter and email settings first, however, as spam filters <3 Meet up emails.

If you RSVP later in the day reply here and I will do my best to get the info to you but I'll only have access around lunch time then within about an hour of the meet, so you might not get them right away.

Anyone interested in going on Wednesday (my mobile carrier is orange so 2-for-1 available)? And I don't fancy seeing this in 3D. Let me know.
